Editor's review

Though he's better known for his role in Nine Inch Nails, Chris Vrenna's solo work (recorded under the name tweaker) is equally captivating. Departing from the abrasive, droning hardcore industrial sound of NIN songs like "Downward Spiral," the former drummer moves closer to a dark, grandiose ambient structure while continuing to explore the nature and character of sound itself. Sparse and haunting, Vrenna's production style is a world unto its own.
